foam, resin (2023)
a study of materials via treated guitars (foam, plate, bowed), violin, and resonating objects
all sounds derived from listed instrumentation
restraint exercised in post-production
visuals based on graphic notation
(unmixed)
Sonically, this piece strives to capture the essence of liquid foam and dry, abrasive resin. To explore this juxtaposition, the performer is provided with a piece of graphic notation - open to interpretation. The graphic notation is constructed of physical materials that reflect its auditory counterparts. This helps differentiate instrumental voices in the piece, as well as blur the line between physical and auditory mediums.
The composition is primarily cell based, evolving around a few primary string and guitar gestures as the textural density morphs.

La Sonification de la Planète Sauvage (2022)
A visual sonification experiment in Max MSP.
This project was an experiment in sonifying visual information via Max MSP. Data was interpreted through parameters to feed synthesizers and granular audio processing.
Python Audio Manipulation Test - No External Libraries
This project explored audio manipulation in Python only using native libraries.
Audio Test Examples:
The code does as follows: The user provides an audio clip. The program then spits out a random number of clips each based on different segments of the original clip. The segments are a random length and location of the original clip. The resulting segments are then sped up or slowed down by a random amount. This tool is useful for sound design and resampling, independent of a DAW.
