thin lungs (2023)

thin lungs is part of a period where much of my art surrounded drowning and near-death experiences. The piece conveys the stress of trying to control my breathing and internal processes when faced with intense physical circumstances.

Amphibious Dispute (2022)

For Electric Guitar and Soprano Saxophone.

Amphibious Dispute is inspired by time spent submerging myself in Mediterranean seas. Underwater, I would ponder my life path and how I should approach my art. The piece moves through segments of tranquil and startling energies.

Dissolving Structures (2023)

For Clarinet in A, Alto Saxophone, and Bassoon.

Dissolving Structures is an open-score chamber piece centered around improvisation guidelines.

This piece is a temporal exploration of structure. Through improvisational suggestions, foundational melodic gestures, a given tonal pallet, and use of electronics, the piece flows between evolving and dissolving textures - catching moments of stability and disorientation.
